New Law Update !
On March 12, 2007, The Washington State House and Senate
passed a new law that radically affects "House Flippers",
Remodels-For-Resale, and Homeowners seeking to renovate and
update for the purpose of selling their home. Under the current
wording, all of the above must obtain a Washington State
General Contractor's License to renovate/update for the purpose
of resale.
This law can also have impact also on the manner in which Real
Estate Agents and Brokers may present properties and give
advice.

L& I is enforcing this new law with fines and Stop-Work Orders.

2007.
